What should you pay attention to before having a check-up?
If you are pregnant or suspect that you may be pregnant, you must inform us before any procedures are started.
Please bring the results of any previous tests or examinations with you.
On the day and at the time of your appointment, you must come fasting; you should not eat for at least 8–10 hours beforehand. During this period, you may drink only water.
For 24 hours before the tests, it is recommended that you do not consume red meat, alcohol, fried or very fatty foods, or vegetables such as broccoli and radish.
If you use more than 250 mg of vitamin C per day, please stop taking the vitamin before coming for your check-up.
If you are on regular medication, be sure to consult your doctor before setting your check-up date and follow their advice regarding whether and when to pause your medication.
Iron supplements should be discontinued at least two days before your check-up.
You can provide urine and stool (feces) samples at the hospital. However, if this is difficult for you, you may bring them with you, provided they have not been kept for more than two hours.
